Dan Murray is a Business Coach, Advisor, Mentor and Trainer. He has been in the Cleaning, Environmental and Disaster Restoration industries for over 35 years. Dan is a Certified Restorer (CR) and successfully completed the nationally recognized Certificate of Environmental Management program from DalTech University. He is also a Certified Value Builder Advisor. Dan has been published in many industry journals and has posted more than 100 video blogs on tips and techniques to improve a disaster restoration business. After 20 years of running several successful service companies he then served as the Canadian General Manager for Recovery Management Services dealing with large property losses and regional catastrophic losses throughout Canada.
He then became the National Business Leader of Disaster Restoration Services for an international Disaster Restoration network. In this role, he was responsible for the overall support of 70 franchise locations throughout Canada. This is where his passion for coaching and training developed.
With the RIA (formerly known as ASCR), Dan has proudly served on the Education Committee, Certification Committee, the Canadian representative on the Advisory Committee for NIDR (a division of The Restoration Industry Association) and served as a member of the RIA Canadian Council.
Dan was a contributor and editor of the internationally recognized publication “NIDR Guidelines for Fire and Smoke Damage Repair” (1997 Edition).
For over 20 years Dan has delivered business and management training specific to Disaster Restoration and Remediation Contractors. He has delivered countless CEC educational sessions throughout North America for the insurance industry and restoration contractors and has presented numerous courses for RIBO, CIP and the AHIA (American Industrial Hygiene Association).
Dan is currently pursuing his passion for coaching and training Disaster Restoration and Environmental Remediation companies through our Value Building programs and business coaching along with our leadership and management training courses and workshops.
Besides riding his Harley whenever he can Dan thrives on helping business owners and their Team streamline their operations, drive efficiencies, and increase profitability. He works with Disaster Restoration firms as a Value Building Coach and Advisor on the Your Restoration Coach Ltd. Team.
